Our residential group homes are designed to serve those who need additional support. We pride our-selves in providing high quality care and services.
We provide an authentic living environment while maintaining the level of support needed for our residents to thrive.
We have created a desirable, safe, and comfortable home for our residents. We believe this is key to the health and well-being of all individuals. Sanpierre Assisted Living residential group homes are located in Settlers Bay in Wasilla and Willow on the Big Susitna river, next to Talkeetna.
Each residential group home can accommodate up to five (5) individual residents. Each have their own personal space which can be furnished to reflect their personal style, as well as communal living and dining areas where they build meaningful relationships with other residents. Sanpierre Assisted Living also provides high quality support services to help individual residents thrive at home and in the community.
Individual and Group Day Habilitation services offered by Sanpierre are home and community based services that provide support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who need more individualized training to acquire, retain or improve socialization and adaptive skills.
These skills help them integrate into the community and have experiences with others.
Day Habilitation enables the residents to access the community in new and exciting ways by utilizing public transportation, grocery shopping, working, working out, and or forming meaningful relationships with peers.
Our trained staff will work with our residents with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to achieve their goals in a community setting.
Our Group Day Habilitation Program Services are provided within in a caring and compassionate learning environment. A diversified menu of learning and skill building activities are offered both on site and in the community.
Natural supports and community resources are offered that allow individuals to develop skills, obtain goals, and engage in meaningful activities at their unique pace.
Activities focus on outcomes and supports strategies; they are personal and developed based on the person and the person’s circle of supports.
Services occur in small groups and include recreation, leisure arts, job skills, exercise, community volunteerism and independent living skills.
Supported employment is a powerful program that provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to work and achieve financial independence. The program offers a variety of services tailored to meet the individual needs of each participant, including job placement, job coaching, skills training, and assistive technology. Through supported employment, individuals with disabilities can achieve greater independence, improve their quality of life, and contribute to their communities.
