Sanpierre Assisted Living, LLC
Established in June 2024, Willow Haven is a nurturing group home community near Talkeetna, created to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Residents enjoy cozy, low-maintenance tiny home style living with breathtaking views of Denali, the Susitna River braid, and the whimsical Goose Creek Tower. Onsite amenities include day habilitation services, supported employment (coming soon), independent living housing (coming soon), farm animals, gardening areas, and the Sanpierre Fitness Center—offering a purposeful lifestyle surrounded by Alaska’s natural beauty.
Ruth H. Tassie
Ruth H. Tassie is the founder and Program Administrator for Sanpierre Assisted Living, LLC a home and community-based service provider in Wasilla & Talkeetna, AK.
Ruth has owned and successfully operated her early childhood development center for over 20 years. Ruth was a licensed foster mother for over 15 years. She's worked tirelessly with agencies across the state to advocate and support those in her care. She believes in continuous growth and development as she completes her Ph.D and volunteers on the board of Alaska Disability Law Center. She is determined to carry out the agency's mission and goals by providing the best quality care in the Mat-Su Valley.
Operations Director
Ian Tassie has been in city management for the US Army for over 24 years. As a city manager, Ian has managed social workers, child care facilities, recreation/entertainment centers and restaurants. Ian has always had a passion for hospitality, and serving those who serve was a natural fit. He goes beyond the call of duty advocating and helping our military build resiliency and defeat suicide at Ft. Wainwright. Ian is also a certified Tony Robbins and Cloe Madanes Strategic Intervention Life Coach
